I walked outside last weekend, and it just felt like summer. Does anybody else “feel” the weather? I woke up to sun pouring in through my windows, and light was dancing across my covers. The birds were singing their morning songs, and I just felt it! We had skipped right past the rest of winter, hopped over Spring, and Summer was here already. I’m sure it was just the 78° temperature and stunning blue skies, but I felt Summer, and I love that!
Summer is my absolute favorite time of year. It’s a time to reset, relax, and to soak up allll the sunshine. I feel the most motivated and inspired to create when Summer hits. So I set forth in my day on a mission: cooking, running errands (with a pit stop for beer with my boy), working on an embroidery project, quick stop at Goodwill where I scored these, and writing this blog post!
Before any of that, though, I reached into the deepest parts of my closet to find my Summer wardrobe. Alas! I touched the linen I longed for. I had a vision the other day to wear this amazing floaty, blue dress complete with TASSELS, and layered it over these striped flare pants. It was the perfect combo for a not-summer-but-feels-like-summer outfit!
